frequently asked questions
Am I a good candidate?
Unfortunately, not everyone is a good candidate for cosmetic tattooing due to the existence of certain contraindicated skin conditions or pre-existing medical concerns. If you have a contraindicated skin condition you may not retain color well and thus may not be entirely satisfied. If you have been previously tattooed by another artist, you MUST provide details, pictures and Kim will decide if she can take on your correction at an additional rate.
You are not eligible if any of the following apply: You are pregnant or nursing, sick with flu/fever, under the age of 18, undergoing chemotherapy and radiation full treatments (prophylactic chemotherapy is generally safe to proceed), have active dermatologic disorders, i.e. rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, acne, active herpes anywhere on the face.

Final Results
The procedure is a meticulous process, requiring at least two sessions with proper before and aftercare in order to achieve desired result. Please note that final results CANNOT be guaranteed as everyone retains and breakdowns pigments differently. A follow-up-appointment is required within 6-10 weeks after your first initial appointment in order to access your pigment retention and address the necessary changes to ensure the best results possible. People with sparse eyebrows, oily skin, lighter hair or correction work may require more than one follow-up session in order to reach their desired goal at an additional cost. Especially if the client is noncompliant with provided before and after procedures, results will be less than satisfactory.
